The Kansas 4-H Volunteer Forum sponsored by the Kansas Association of 4-H Volunteers (KA4-HV) is a part of Kansas Leadership Forum presented by 4-H. The 2010 Volunteer Forum theme is "Celebrating 10 Years of Leadership Learning". Forum will feature presentations and workshops to develop your leadership and build leadership in youth and adults. The Forum is for all 4-H Volunteers.
Volunteer Forum will start Friday evening with group building activities, the community service project, idea sharing sessions and discussion groups followed by social networking time.
Saturday morning the Forum will engage in hands on activities for 4-H programs to foster Belonging, Mastery, Independance and Generosity in youth, join KYLF for their speaker followed by consulting groups on Growing 4-H. Saturday afternoon will be workshops: 4-H Mission Science, 4-H Mission Healthy Living, 4-H Mission Citizenship, Help Kansas 4-H Grow, Kansas Awards Portfolio Helping Youth and 4-H in the Digital World.
Saturday evening is the Kansas Association of 4-H Volunteers annual meeting and a Forum 10th Birthday Bash.
One highlight of the Forum will be the annual Silent Auction, to benefit the 2012 North Central Regional Volunteer Forum being hosted by Kansas, October 11- 14, 2012 in Wichita. Bring items to donate and be prepared to take home lot of cool stuff.
Cost is $155 (Kansas Association of 4-H Volunteers receive a $15 scholarship, to make their cost $140). Saturday only registration is available for $55.

In memory of Julie Green, one of the founders of the KA4-HV. The scholarship is to assist a Kansas 4-H Volunteer to attend a State or Regional 4-H Volunteer Forum. Applications are due October 15th. The scholarship is for $75.00 and will be reimbursed after attendance at the selected Forum.

Head to the Michigan "mitten" for a "Heads On! Hands On!" experience when Michigan 4-H Youth Development hosts the North Central Region Volunteer Forum (NCRVF) October 7 to 10, 2010!
A fast paced, educational and fun event awaits you on the spectacular fall campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing. Conference lodging and events will be at the MSU campus Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center located on the banks of the scenic Red Cedar River. Pre-conference tours will also be available on October 7 to some of Michigan's noted historical attractions.
The North Central Region 4-H Volunteer Forum is a great opportunity for Extension staff and 4-H volunteers (adult and youth) to:
- Gain knowledge and insight.
- Learn new teaching skills to take home and share within their 4-H clubs.
- Develop healthy youth and adult educational partnerships.
- Have a great time making new 4-H friends and exchanging ideas!
Cost is $200 Early Bird, (closes August 15th) or $250 regular.
Automatic Kansas Association of 4-H Volunteers scholarship ($100) available to first 25 members who register.
