Begun in 1997, the National 4-H Public Service Advertising Campaign, "Are You Into It?" was developed with the Advertising Council, Between 1997 and 2001 the campaign generated more than $250 million in donated media support for 4-H.

The National Conversation on Youth Development in the 21st Century was an unprecedented series of discussions between youth and adults from around the country to devise ways of improving urban, suburban, and rural communities nationwide. 1200 youth and adults representing 600 organizations met in Washington, D.C. on February 28 thru March 1, 2002. The Danbury Mint 4-H Doll was nominated for Doll of the Year. The figurine pictured was created by Precious Moments to honor 4-H's Centennial.
