Personal gear
Sleeping bag
Foam pad or Therm-a-rest
Camera and plenty of film
Flashlight (extra batteries and bulb)
Pocket knife
Waterproof match case with matches
Sunglasses (Polarized for fishing)
Spare vision glasses if worn
Insect repellent
Personal hygiene kit
Toothbrush
Lip Balm
Tooth paste
Washcloth and Towel (backpacking)
Biodegradable soaps
Sun tan lotion
Personal eating utensils and plate, bowl, and cup
Duffel bag
2-Water bottles (Nalgene) and Duck-Tape around the bottle

Clothing
One long sleeve shirt (quick drying)
One short sleeve shirt (quick drying)
One pair shorts
One pair long pants
One warm Jacket (fleece is good)
Rain jacket and pants (no ponchos)
Gloves (wool works well) & stocking hat
Hat with wide brim (make sure it has wide brim)
Underwear
Long underwear (polypro, might be nice if you get cold and wet)
Socks (wool or polypro)
Tennis shoes or sandals (Teva's) to get wet
Swim suit
Mosquito gear (like head screen from lasts year)

Optional gear
Binoculars
Fishing pole and tackle
Paddling gloves (bicycle gloves)
Playing cards, books, travel chess, etc.
No Radios, Gameboys or other electronic gear in wilderness
Crazy creek style of chair
Pack Pillow
Frisbee
Bandana
Hacky sack
