Photo Adventure Camp 2014

Images with an Edge

June 14 - 17, 2014

Rock Springs 4-H Center

Photo Adventure Camp is an intense, exciting four day photographic experience for teens age 13-16. Cameras, teens, and a camp theme of "Images with an edge" will combine to explore and capture camper's vision in both new and traditional activities. Talented and dynamic volunteers will provide hands-on instruction enabling many new skills to be learned.
There will be many new workshops and activities this year and workshops for campers based on knowledge and experience levels.  Campers will be assigned to workshops and activities based on prior attendance at Photo Camp, the camera they will be bringing and demonstrated skills.  Camp will finish with a presentation for parents featuring images made by all campers (also new for 2014).

Trac A will take first year campers through a crash course of basics and then explore more skills using lighting, composition, motion and more.

Trac B will serve second and third year campers who will take skills learned previously to the next level and beyond with creativity and finesse.

Trac 16 will focus on careers and leadership skills for campers who have attended three previous years or are 16.  Campers in this trac will complete assignments on a deadline and utilize resources available from peers, volunteers and those working in the field.

Registration fee is $195 for youth and $215 for adults.  Parents and 4-H Volunteers are invited to attend camp and learn along with the youth.  Enrollment is limited so don’t delay in registering for Photo Adventure Camp 2014.   Register online, registration closes May 1, 2014.
