Learning Objectives

Learning activities focus on these major concepts: conservation, crop production and marketing, exhibit and judging events, grain science, pest control and IPM (integrated pest management), plant science,  photosynthesis, plant breeding, plant growth and propagation, seed germination, soils, and power equipment used in farming and horticultural practice. 

4-H members may choose from three options: Field Crops, Forestry and Horticulture.

Reasonably priced materials are available for every project in Kansas 4-H.  You can order the materials for your project online or contact your local Extension Office.
