Kansas 4-H will again be offering Sewing Camp in 2016!
Kansas 4-H will again be offering Sewing Camp in 2016! This year’s camp will be held at the K-State Manhattan campus, during the Discovery Days time frame – May 31-June 3.
We are currently seeking applications for Teen Leader Assistants (teens 16-19) for Sewing Camp. Assistants will be available to assist youth sewers, stay overnight in the residence halls and provide other help as needed. Application copies were sent to local units on February 12. Contact Andrea Feldkamp at afeld@ksu.edu to have copies sent directly to you.
This is a terrific opportunity for teen and adult sewing enthusiasts to share clothing construction knowledge with others, gain leadership experience and tour the Apparel & Textile Design program at Kansas State University. Applications are due by April 1 to Mary Bernhardt at mary_bernhardt@cox.net.
