Be Ag-Wise Workshops
Kansas Farm Bureau is offering its Be Ag-Wise workshops to teachers and educators in Kansas in 2018. "Full steam ahead! Incorporating Agriculture into your STEM curriculum" is the theme for the workshops to be held in Manhattan on Feb. 22; Colby on Feb. 27; Garden City on March 6; and Bonner Springs on March 13.
This year attendees will have the option to register for morning, afternoon or all-day sessions. Elementary school lesson plans will be presented from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($25), junior & senior high school lesson plans will be presented from noon - 4 p.m. ($25), or attend both sessions for a discounted price of $40. First-time attendees will receive $5 off the registration price. All sessions include a working lunch.
