Register for the Vet Med ROCKS Summer Camp!

Vet Med ROCKS camp will consist of a full day of activities at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine!  Things you will get to do during our day camp:

  • Go on a behind the scenes tour of our Veterinary Health Center and learn about careers in veterinary medicine
  • Parasitology laboratory! Learn all about the many parasites that infect dogs, cats, large animals and yes, even humans!
  • Your pet ate what??? Learn to read a radiograph like a pro and identify things that are not supposed to be there!
  • Visit the Herpetarium! Meet our resident turtle, skink, snakes, tarantulas.... Take this opportunity to learn about their environments, what they eat and what they do for fun!
  • What do animals eat? Animals have many different types of digestive tracts. We will learn what types of food different species can eat and why. We will also learn about what animals should NOT eat during this lab.
  • You want me to put my arm where? Palpation lab time!
