September 15 Deadline: Review Your ES-237 Report

Submitted by Terry Roberts

Each year, local Extension units are responsible for completing the ES-237 Report and ensuring 4HOnline is ready for the upcoming 4-H Program Year.  The deadline for completion of these tasks is September 15, 2018

What is the ES-237 Report?
The ES-237 is a collaborative effort, involving each local Extension office and the State 4-H office.  The report is required by the USDA and contains a breakdown of 4-H outreach and development; in short, it’s a snapshot of the State of Kansas’ 4-H Program Year.  When 4-H members enroll in 4HOnline and local Extension staff approve those enrollments, the ES-237 Report begins to take form. Learn more about the ES-237 Report here.

How do I complete this process?
Each local Extension unit has a 4HOnline Administrator who should complete the End of Year Cleanup & ES-237 Report.  The resource that explains this process is located at the bottom of the 4-H Enrollment Support Page, along with supplemental materials you might need.

How can I ensure my ES-237 Report is accurate?
With the help of your 4HOnline managers, run your ES-237 Report and ensure the totals in each delivery mode reflect true programmatic efforts in your local Extension unit.
