Kansas 4-H Tip Sheet

October 15, 2018

If your 4-H youth has a disability, what do you do?

Submitted by Wade Weber

The State 4-H Office has worked collaboratively with many different partners at the state and local levels including K-State campus subject-matter experts to create a road map for local agents to use when trying to provide accessible services to youth with disabilities. We would like to thank all the individuals that have contributed to creating this document.

You may access this document on our 4-H Staff Page at Program Accessibility Guidelines Worksheet.

This document defines reasonable accommodations, provides information related to functional limitations youth may experience as well as how to work with the State 4-H Office to provide reasonable accommodations at any point during programming once the accommodations are requested.

We look forward to working with you on reasonable accommodations for youth now and into the future.  We strive to continue providing accessible youth development programming for every youth across the state of Kansas.

Thank you for your contributions and dedication to Kansas youth.
