Successful 2015-16 Japanese Academic Year Program Concludes

Submitted by Mary Kay Munson

On June 18 Shota Wada, Garden City High School, and Yuriko Takeki, Clay Center High School, will depart for National Debriefing by States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs and then home.  They have participated actively in their local 4-H clubs, communities, schools,  county/district programs, KYLF, CIA, and Discovery Days.  We want to thank their host families, Randy, Becky and Zack McVey and Mike, Donna and Lauren Taphorn for their support of the students and making them available for 4-H requirements and activities.  Local Extension staff—Tayla Cannella, Karen Langvardt and Deanna Turner—have done a great job as local coordinators for them.
