4-H Shooting Sports - Fall Registration - Due September 1

New for 2018 Fall 4-H Shooting Sports Matches – 4HOnline Registration! It’s totally different than Cvent! 4-H members register individual information and 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator registers team information in 4HOnline.

Actively enrolled 4-H members that have met the qualifying scores for each of the disciplines are eligible to register. Remember that shooting a qualifying score does not automatically register a 4-H member for the State Match! Registration for all the Fall Matches are due – September 1 and must be completed in 4HOnline.

Fall Match disciplines include:
Archery – September 22, Smoky Valley Shooting Sports, 2341 14th Ave., Lindsborg, KS
Hunting Skills, Muzzle Loading, Small Bore – September 29, Capitol City Gun Club, 12200 NW 4th St., Topeka, KS
Shotgun – October 5 and 6, Ark Valley Gun Club, 4500 E. 117th N. Valley Center, KS and Murphy and Sons, 6400 SW Hunter Rd, Augusta, KS


Individuals, Team members and Alternates must register!

  • 4-H members/family logs in to 4HOnline with their family email and password and registers themselves
  • Check out the “How to Register for a 4HOnline Event” guide
  • Double check all information entered.
  • Online payment and personal check is available for family payment or county/district check
  • Check payment should be mailed to the State 4-H Office if a member is not paying online or with a county/district check
  • $25 cancellation fee before September 1; full fee after September 1
  • All checks personal and county/district checks must be sent to the State 4-H Office and postmarked by September 14


4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator team registration!

  • Coordinators must have a 4HOnline family/adult profile to complete registration!
  • 4-H adult logs into their existing 4HOnline account with their email and password to register team and volunteer information
  • Check out the “How to Register for a 4HOnline Event” guide
  • List adult volunteers assisting with matches
  • Declares teams and alternates
  • Match worksheets to aid in developing teams and alternates
  • Verifies volunteers’ screening status

Registration Suggestion Steps!

  • Gather qualified 4-H shooters and conduct a registration event before September 1
  • Determine local payment process: individual credit card, personal check or county/district check and communicate with 4-H members and families

Smallbore participants must have a completed Handgun permit in order to participate.  Blank Handgun permits may be found at http://www.kansas4-h.org/events-activities/conferences-events/shooting-sports/index.html.

Match flights will NOT be available until one week prior to the event.
