First Inbound IFYEs Arrive June 21
Four inbound International 4-H Youth Exchange (IFYE) Inbound participants arrive in Wichita Sunday, June 21 following national and Kansas orientation in Atlanta where they will participate in the National IFYE Conference hosted by the IFYE Association of the USA, Inc. Host families and IFYE alumni will be meeting their Wichita flights and transporting them to their first host families. Stefan Taschl will arrive July 7 for a five-week stay.
After each hosting period, families will be meeting to transfer their IFYEs to the next hosts. The final hosting period for three-month IFYEs will end the first weekend of Kansas State Fair. If county staff have room and can use assistance when bringing exhibits to the Fair, their assistance with transportation for IFYEs who are in their units on September 11 will be appreciated.
One more family each is needed for Ieuan and Stefan at this writing.
