Description:

Cannas are an ornamental flower grown in Kansas. The leaves are typically green or a bronzy color and have prominent veins and a pointed tip. Flowers of cannas come in a variety of colors, mostly red, orange, yellow, and pink. While typically grown as an annual, the rhizomes of cannas can be lifted in the fall, stored, and replanted when the danger of frost has passed in the spring.
