Description:

Blueberries can be grown in Kansas, but it takes yearly management. While most crops prefer a soil pH of 6.5-7.5, blueberries prefer a soil pH of 4.5-5.5. Blueberry leaves are football shaped and arranged alternately on the stem. Blueberry flowers are bell shaped, and when ripe, the berries turn blue.
