Description:

Raspberries are a common shrub grown in gardens across Kansas. The leaves are alternately arranged and have 3-5, but sometimes 7, leaflets. The leaves are green on the top and whitish on the bottom. The fruit of raspberries are an aggregate of drupelets and can be red, black, or yellow in color. The main difference between the fruits of blackberries and raspberries is that the berry is hollow.
