States' 4-H exchange programs will be offered in summer 2026.

4-H Youth aged 12-18 and Chaperones may apply to spend 3-8 weeks abroad depending on their travel location preferences. Applications for Kansas youth for 2026 are due on November 1, 2025. Interviews and the first orientation will be held on Sunday, November 23 in Junction City, KS. Details will be shared with applicants.

2026 Outbound country options include traveling to Japan, South Korea, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Taiwan.

Adult volunteers are also needed to chaperone a group of 4-H members to Japan, South Korea, Costa Rica, Argentina and Taiwan. Please review the lead and junior chaperone position descriptions and application links in the Chaperone Information drop-down menu below.
