IFYE Host Family Opportunities
The IFYE Program is on hiatus for 2024. There will be no exchanges to Kansas or from Kansas in 2024. All other programs are not affected.
From June through September each year, Kansas 4-H families may host IFYE exchange delegates for 2-3 weeks during their 2-3 month stay in Kansas. It is a wonderful way to learn more about another culture and to expand your cultural knowledge. Exchange delegates represent their country's partner organization and vary in age, but are generally 18-30 years-old. Kansas families with or without children may host IFYEs.
Kansas 4-H plans to host IFYEs again in summer 2024, (likely three) and will need around 12 Kansas 4-H host families for their stay in Kansas. These IFYEs will be in Kansas from mid-June to early September 2024, and will fly in and out of Wichita's Dwight Eisenhower Airport (ICT).
