4-H Youth Development

States' 4-H International Exchange Programs

States' 4-H exchange programs will continue in summer 2023.

4-H Youth aged 12-18 and Chaperones (minimum age 25-years-old) may elect to spend 3-8 weeks abroad depending on their travel location preferences.  Applications for 2023 are due on November 1, 2022.  Internviews will be held on Sunday, November 20 in Junction City, KS. 

2023 Outbound programs include Japan, South Korea and Costa Rica.  If other countries are added for 2023, the flyers will be posted below as they become available.

Adult volunteers wishing to chaperone a group of 4-H members to Japan, South Korea and Costa Rica should contact Mary Kay Munson, States' 4-H Coordinator for full details on how to apply.
