4-H Online: End-of-Year Prep and Program Year Rollover Timeline

Submitted by McKenzie Zimmermann

Never too early to begin to prep for the new program year!

To ensure 4-H Online is functioning properly for families at the start of the new program year on October 1, please complete all tasks outlined in the 4-H Online End of Year Prep for Rollover Guide no later than September 19, 2025.

The system will roll over to the new program year on September 19 after 11:59 p.m. On September 20th, 4-H Online will be temporarily closed to families and staff, and they will be unable to log in. The State 4-H Office will use this time to verify that active clubs, county project aliases, and coupon codes have rolled over correctly.

If your county plans to sponsor youth for the new program year, please begin that planning now. In the past, a Sponsor Order Form was required to initiate or continue sponsorships. This year, you may simply email McKenzie Zimmermann with the information outlined below to start or renew a sponsorship. Submitting this information early ensures discounts are set up when enrollment opens.

  • County & District
  • Dollar Amount to be Sponsored
  • Percentage to be sponsored (100%, 50%, 25%, or 10%)\

If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact McKenzie Zimmermann at mlzim@ksu.edu or (785) 532-5800.
