Financing the Future of 4-H
I want to express my thanks to those of you that completed the “Financing the Future of 4-H” survey and/or attended the recent 4-H Program Rally presentation. Your input, discussion and recommendations regarding the funding situation of the Kansas 4-H Youth Development is critical to our decisions going forward.
Financing the future of 4-H is not just about securing more funds. A strong, high quality 4-H program is important to the many Kansas 4-Her’s, families, volunteers, alumni and stakeholders who currently value the 4-H program. It is also about having the capacity to continue to offer the benefits of a positive 4-H youth development experience to tomorrow’s youth.

December 2016 – Department of 4-H Youth Development analyzes data
Early 2017 – Department of 4-H Youth Development makes decision regarding funding
Early 2017 – Announce any changes for 2017-2018 4-H Program year
