The 2018 Youth in Action Awards Are Open for Submissions
National 4-H Council’s Youth in Action Awards recognize outstanding 4-H’ers, aged 16-19-years-old who epitomize 4-H youth empowerment and leadership in four 4-H Pillar Areas: agriculture, citizenship, healthy living and STEM. This prestigious award will honor four confident, accomplished 4-H’ers who have gained critical life skills through their 4-H experience. Each winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship for higher education, a customized promotional video showcasing their 4-H impact story, be recognized as the official 4-H youth spokesperson for their pillar, and receive an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. to be recognized at National 4-H Council's Legacy Awards.
The call for on-line application submissions is open now through October 23, at www.4-h.org/youthinaction where you can find full guidelines and learn more about Youth in Action.
