Applications Due for Summer Inbound Exchanges

Submitted by Dr. Mary Kay Munson

Families wishing to host students from Costa Rica, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. These youth are ages 12-18, depending on the exchange program. The placements for families to host students from Japan will be managed within Kansas by Pam Van Horn, State Coordinator. (See her article elsewhere in the Tip Sheet.)  Placements for students for Costa Rica, South Korea and Taiwan are managed by Mary Kay Munson. Families should submit online applications to States' 4-H International Exchange Programs. The same application can be used for all of these exchanges.

The link to the application is found on the Kansas 4-H web page at: https://www.kansas4-h.org/events-activities/global-citizenship/index.html.

Contact Mary Kay Munson for more information on one-month States' 4-H exchanges other than Japan.  If a family applies to host and does not get a placement, the family will be contacted about other options including Japan and IFYE.
