Time to Complete Applications for Summer Inbound Exchange
We know we will have a group of Japanese youth from July-August. We’d also like to continue our tradition of hosting six Norwegian 4H members and four Costa Rican 4-S members in June 26-July 19. They will be teens aged 15-18 and require host siblings in their teens. They have been popular every time they come, but this year, Kansas needs applicants immediately, or we may lose out to other states. Placements are made in March.
If you know anyone who would like to host and share Kansas summer activities with one of these students, have them contact Mary Kay Munson, coordinator at 785-375-3189 or mkm2@ksu.edu. Applications are online with States’ 4-H International Exchange. Since placements are made early, approved families will be offered other opportunities when Norwegian and Costa Rican youth are placed.
