What a Successful Kansas State Fair!
It wouldn’t be the success it is without the State 4-H Team, local Extension professionals, and volunteers. We truly have a great group of folks who work together to make great things happen and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done to make the State Fair a success!
I want to extend a special thanks to the Kansas 4-H Foundation for sponsoring the lunch on Thursday before the fair for all the judges, superintendents, and volunteers. This allowed everyone to take a break, but be able to jump back into judging, tabulating, displaying exhibits, etc. and most divisions were done earlier than last year because of it.
As we get ready to kick off the new 4-H year, let’s remember the 4-H motto of making the best better. We have grown over the past 10 months and have moved things forward together, but we still have quite a way to go. I look forward to continuing to work with you as we continue to make Kansas 4-H the best positive youth development organization. Thank you for all you do!
