Kansas 4-H Approves Five for 2024 International Exchanges

At the Kansas Outbound International Exchange Interviews and First Orientation, five teens were approved for submission to States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs (States’ 4-H) for 2024 Exchanges. After the States’ 4-H deadline December 15, 2023, applicants will be assigned to outbound exchanges in specific countries. Placements will be announced in early January and applicants will accept placements by January 15. First and second choices of Kansas applicants include exchanges in Japan, Norway, and South Korea.
Approved applicants to represent Kansas 4-H, their Extension Units and their first choices for country placement include:
Eliza Brockhoff, Leavenworth County, Norway
Channing Dillinger, Stevens County (Wild West District), Norway
Tanis Normile, Franklin County (Frontier District), Japan
Belle Poor, Sedgwick County, Japan
Luke Walker, Saline (Central Kansas District), Norway
They and their parents participated in the first Outbound Orientation on the day of State Interviews, November 19, 2023. The next Kansas Outbound Orientation is scheduled for February 24-25 in Gypsum, Kansas.
