Introducing Patsy Maddy: Embarking on a Journey of Special Projects at Kansas State 4-H Office

Submitted by Sarah E. Maass

As we eagerly step into the new year, the Kansas State 4-H Office is thrilled to welcome a dynamic addition to our team – Ms. Patsy Maddy, our new Special Projects Administrator. Patsy brings a wealth of experience and a passion for youth development to her role, having served as a 4-H Youth Development Agent in the Twins Creeks District.

Patsy's career in 4-H has been notable. With a background deeply rooted in fostering the growth and development of young minds, she will seamlessly transition into her new role after the first of the year as the orchestrator of special projects here at Kansas State 4-H Office.

In her previous role, Patsy demonstrated an unwavering commitment to empowering youth and creating meaningful experiences. Her dedication and innovative approach to 4-H Youth Development in the Twins Creeks District have left a lasting mark on the community.

As our Special Projects Administrator, Patsy will spearhead initiatives that are set to redefine the landscape of youth development in Kansas. Her primary responsibilities will include working closely with the 4-H Project Partnership Teams, assisting with the Healthy Blue Initiative, and overseeing the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, just to name a few.

The Kansas State 4-H Office is honored to have Patsy Maddy on board, and we are excited about the positive impact her presence will have on the countless lives touched by our programs. We encourage all members of our Extension community to join us in extending a warm welcome to Patsy as she embarks on this exciting journey with us.  Patsy may be contacted by email at pmaddy@ksu.edu, Microsoft Teams, and/or by phone at 785-877-7262.

As we look forward to the promise of a new year, we are confident that Patsy Maddy will play an important role in moving Kansas 4-H forward. Welcome, Patsy!
