Kansas 4-H Dog Care and Training News
1. Just a reminder that 4-H members in order to participate in the 2016 Kansas State Fair 4-H Dog Show, in Hutchinson, on Saturday, September 17th, must have qualified in a specific discipline(s) at a state qualifier 4-H or open dog show during the 2015-16 4-H year. The disciplines are showmanship, obedience, agility and rally obedience. Most of these qualifier dog shows happen during county fairs or invitational dog shows during spring and summer.
2. 2017 Kansas 4-H Dog Judges’ Certification and Training is scheduled January 20-22 in Salina. Full registration details will be posted to the Kansas 4-H web site by November 15th.
