National 4-H Hall of Fame Opportunities for Teens

Submitted by Pam Van Horn

The National 4-H Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for October 6, 2017 at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The National 4-H Hall of Fame Task Force is soliciting applications for a 4-H member to serve as the master or mistress of ceremonies and one to provide entertainment (vocal or instrumental) for this event. Each state may nominate one candidate for master of ceremony and entertainment. Applicants may be current 4-H members or 4-H alumni who are in college.

Kansas 4-H is asking interested candidates to apply since Kansas can nominate only one candidate for each of the categories of Master/Mistress of Ceremonies or Entertainer. Interested candidates can find the application at http://www.kansas4-h.org under “What’s hot”. Applications are due April 15 to Pam Van Horn at pvanahorn@ksu.edu.
