Hosts Still Needed for Next School Year
Students who will be hosted for the next school year as part of the States' 4-H International Exchange Program Academic Year Program (AYP) are added to a National Pool for participating states to select from. At the time of this writing, all students approved to come from Japan and South Korea have been included in the pool. FLEX students from countries in Eastern Europe and Asia are being added now with a few still to be listed in the next month. Families from around the U.S. are making selections from the pool on a first approved basis. Kansas families who are considering being a host for the school year should contact Mary Kay Munson, Kansas AYP Coordinator as soon as possible to consider the widest choice of students.
