Nine Outbound Exchange Applicants Interviewed
On November 23 nine teens from seven counties/districts interviewed for this year’s Outbound Exchanges through States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs. Those who were approved as applicants from Kansas to the national level will be announced in next month’s Tip Sheet. Their home counties will be notified after November 24. Approved applications are sent to the States’ 4-H national office before December1. Placements will be made by States’ 4-H in January to Costa Rica, Japan, Norway, Romania and Taiwan. Acceptance of those placements will confirm the outbound exchange participation. In addition to Orientation initiated in November, exchange delegates will have another orient in the spring.
