4-H Dog Project Updates
- Coming Soon: Certified 4-H Dog Judge List
Any staff members looking for certified 4-H Dog judges to work at their event or show will be able to find the list in the staff downloads on the Dog Project webpage at https://www.kansas4-h.org/projects/animals/dog.html in the next coming weeks. This is a password protected page which any staff member can access with their K-State credentials.
- List of Local Open 4-H Dog Events
Is your county hosting an upcoming 4-H Dog Shows, Clinics, or Event that is open to Kansas 4-H Dog members? If so please send your events to Shane Potter – potters@ksu.edu. All open 4-H Dog events will be posted on https://www.kansas4-h.org/events-activities/conferences-events/dog/local-dog-shows.html. There is currently one 2020 event posted in Shawnee Co. on February 22. These are excellent events to promote to your families as opportunities to practice and learn new skills from other 4-H members.
- State Fair 4-H Dog Show
The 2020 Kansas State Fair 4-H Dog show is scheduled for September 5, 2020 in the Expo Center. This is the weekend before the start of the fair as the Bison Arena is no longer available for use. This is just an FYI to save the date. As additional details beyond the date are finalized, more updates will follow.
