Kansas 4-H Shooting Sports Agent Training UPDATE

Submitted by Anissa Jepsen

Per the guidelines from K-State and KSRE we will postpone the Kansas 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor training for March 26-29. We will be working in the next few weeks to determine the best course of action for rescheduling. Please be patient as we work through this process.

An email will be sent out to Coordinators, and participants who have signed up for training. Those who have registered for in-person training will be refunded their money with no penalties. Those who have taken the online modules will not have to take the modules again when they register.

Those who signed up for agent training will be refunded their registration and the training will be held virtual. Participants will be send an email in the next week with details.

The following announcement describes our event which has been postponed:

Agents with Kansas 4-H Shooting Sports responsibilities or who are interested in starting a local 4-H Shooting Sports program are invited to a Kansas 4-H Shooting Sports Agent Training.

This training will focus on policies and procedures in 4-H Shooting Sports, give you a glimpse at how volunteers are trained, give you tools to manage your local 4-H Shooting Sports, and have time for best practices sharing with peers. An agenda will be sent out prior to the training.

This training is not a Certified Discipline training and does not replace Shooting Sports Coordinator Training.
