Farewell and Best Wishes for the Future

Submitted by McKenzie Zimmermann

Kansas 4-H Youth Development Colleagues,

It is with both excitement and a touch of sadness that I write to bid you farewell. Over the past seven years, and particularly the last two with Kansas 4-H, it has been an incredible journey filled with growth, camaraderie, and countless memorable experiences.

As many of you may already know, April 15th marks the beginning of a new chapter for me as I step into the role of Business Manager at the Administrative Support Center. This decision came suddenly but is one that I am deeply grateful for and eager to embrace.

Reflecting on my time with Kansas 4-H, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunities it has afforded me. The past two years have been nothing short of transformative, filled with moments of growth, gaining new perspectives, and forming connections that I will cherish for a lifetime. Each of you has played an integral role in making this journey truly remarkable, and for that, I am immensely thankful.

As I transition to my new role, I want to assure you that I am leaving Kansas 4-H in capable hands. Regarding the management of 4-H Online, I kindly ask that you direct any inquiries to Marissa Randel for the time being. Marissa will be stepping into this role temporarily, and I kindly ask for your understanding and support as she navigates this new responsibility alongside her other duties.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and kindness throughout my tenure with Kansas 4-H. It has been an honor and privilege to work alongside such a talented and passionate team, and I will carry the memories and lessons learned with me wherever I go.

As I embark on this new adventure, I am filled with excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead. While I will miss our interactions and shared experiences, I am confident that our paths will cross again in the future.
In closing, I urge you to continue the incredible work you do in making the best better for Kansas youth. Your dedication and commitment make a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals, and I have no doubt that you will continue to inspire and empower those around you.

Thank you once again for your support, friendship, and camaraderie. Please stay in touch, and know that I am only a phone call or email away.
Wishing you all continued success, fulfillment, and happiness in your respective journeys.

With warmest regards,
McKenzie Zimmermann
