Join Us for the Virtual Global 4-H Digital Summit 2021
With the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, our lives have changed dramatically. For 4-H youth around the world, meeting with international friends has been difficult. In order to stay connected in globally, Korea 4-H, Taiwan 4-H and Canada 4-H have organized Global 4-H Digital Summit 2021, to be held September 7-9. It is estimated that over 10,000 people from up to 75 countries will attend this free virtual event! Anyone involved in 4-H or interested in learning more about 4-H is welcome.
Join us as we connect with speakers, presenters, experience sharers, and participants in developing and shaping the global citizenship and lifelong connections despite the odds. The intention of this digital summit is to create an opportunity to stay connected and keep our global 4-H community strong. Invited speakers will bring wisdom and knowledge from their fields of expertise to share with attendees through 60 minute pre-recorded thematic presentations. Those who join the summit will have the opportunity to see and hear from both youth and adults, working in a variety of fields.
Individuals or small groups are also invited to share their 4-H experiences and culture show. Each 4-H Experience Sharing will be pre-recorded and approximately 3-5 minutes in length. 4-H members will the opportunity to share different aspects of their 4-H youth development experience such as what they have learned in 4-H, project demonstrations, public service, civic engagement or local or statewide initiatives. The Cultural Show will also be pre-recorded and approximately 5-15 minutes in length. It is a multicultural extravaganza and also a celebration of cultural diversity. 4-Hers will demonstrate their amazing talents and share their cultures and traditions with each other to foster an appreciation of differences and similarities they share.

- July 18 – Deadline to submit proposals (email to Erin Smith, Chief Program Officer, 4-H Canada at esmith@4-h-canada.ca)
- July 30 – Deadline to register for the Summit online
- August 15 – Deadline to submit 4-H Experience-sharing sessions and 4-H Cultural Show to service@fourth.org.tw.
