Kansas Junior Producer Day Dates Announced
The 2022 Kansas Junior Producer Day dates have been set! We are excited to return to hosting in-person events next spring. Kansas Junior Beef Producer Day will be Saturday, March 5, with Kansas Junior Sheep Producer Day scheduled for Saturday, March 19. Both events will be hosted in Weber Hall on the K-State campus in Manhattan. These events are one-day educational events for families to learn more about the selection and management of a specific specie. Youth, adults, extension agents, project leaders, and volunteers are invited to attend!
Presentations will be provided by K-State faculty, staff, students, extension agents, and guest speakers. Topics range from selection, to nutrition, to meat science and showmanship. Tentative schedules and registration information are forthcoming.
