Host Family Applications are Open for 2026 Summer Hosting

Submitted by Mary Kay Munson

Applications to host 4-H Exchange members from Taiwan and Japan’s Labo and LEX in summer 2026 are now open on the States’ 4-H and Kansas 4-H websites. For States’ 4-H exchanges, host families should have a host sibling of the same gender and within a couple of years of age of the youth they host. Families hosting Taiwan 4-H members should also be involved in 4-H. Previous hosts for any States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs need only to update their online applications on the States' 4-H site, which is accessed using their emails.
Kansas has agreed to host 2 or more teens from Taiwan, June 28-July 26, and 30 or more teens from Japan, plus chaperones, July 21 to August 14. Contact Mary Kay Munson, Kansas Exchange Coordinator, mkm2@ksu.edu or 785-375-3189 with questions.
