IFYE Offers Exchanges for 4-H Alumni
Kansas 4-H offers international exchanges in partnership with IFYE USA for young adults 18-25. For 2026, these exchanges will involve 10 two-way exchanges from June to mid-August. They will involve one American each exchanging with one young adult representing a partner organization in a country on several different continents including Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central/South America. Participants will be hosted by several families in rural areas and those in agricultural enterprises.
Kansas needs families to host some of the exchange counterparts for 2-3 weeks during the period from June 3 to August 14. There is no requirement that hosts have children of a specific age or gender, but the visitors will likely be 18 and older. Applications for going abroad and hosting are available on the IFYE USA website. We would like to identify those interested in going abroad on the program by November and include them in Interviews and the First Orientation on November 23, 2025, in Junction City.
