K-State Research and Extension, Wyandotte County and the Wyandotte County 4-H Program, proudly presents the Kansas 4-H Horse Achievement Level Riding Test Invitational to take place at the Wyandotte County Fairgrounds on April 7, 2018.

This exciting day will be for all Kansas 4-Hers who have completed their Kansas Standard of Excellence Horse Achievement Levels I-III written and leadership components with passing scores, and are currently enrolled in the Kansas 4-H Horse Project. To help keep the day moving, we will have two Level Testing Evaluators on-hand to help give youth constructive, positive pointers and feedback while taking their Horsemanship Test component at the Wyandotte County Fairgrounds.

Our event will be open to the public to attend and watch youth with their equine partners, while learning about Kansas 4-H and other educational community organizations and businesses in educational tradeshow to be held in our Red Barn. We'd love for you to attend and learn more about Kansas 4-H and the horse industry with us!

Participants will need to have proof of:
• Passing scores for the level they intend to complete the Horsemanship component for
• Proof of $10 payment to State 4-H Office for written/horsemanship test
• Current negative coggins test for the horse being used
• Proof of enrollment in Kansas 4-H from their local extension office

Participants will need to RSVP by March 16, 2018 at, https://tinyurl.com/wyco4hhorsetestday. The public Facebook event can be found here, https://www.facebook.com/events/890389864469163/. As new details form, they will be posted to this site.

We look forward to meeting your 4-Hers, families and adult volunteers while sharing a day full of equine activities and learning about Kansas 4-H! Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Wyandotte County 4-H Agent, Nicole Crosson at ncrosson@ksu.edu.
