4-H District Horse Show Judge Procedures
To ensure more consistency for the District Horse Show, the following procedures have been developed by the 4-H Horse Action Team:
• Judge MUST come from approved District Horse Show Judges List.
• Judge CANNOT work or live in the district.
• Judge CANNOT be hired more than 2 consecutive years.
A trail judge can be hired that is not on the list; however, chairs MUST send the judge’s contract to the State Office at least 30 days prior to their show.
Following the show, each district is encouraged to submit feedback on the judges to the Horse Action Team.
