Summer Inbound Exchanges

Submitted by Mary Kay Munson

In 2021 Kansas families will have the opportunity to host teens and young adults from Japan and Costa Rica on States’ 4-H programs and IFYE’s from throughout the world.  Japan, in particular, has extra young people wanting to come in 2021 because exchanges were cancelled last year.  Kansas will be bringing a new coordinator on board to manage the Japan Inbound Exchange who is not named at this time.  Contact Mary Kay Munson (mkm2@ksu.edu) with questions about hosting a Costa Rican teen or a Japanese youth (until the new coordinator is named).

To host a young adult 18-25 through IFYE, contact Chelsy Champlin, IFYE Host Family Coordinator, at chelsycoen@gmail.com.  Applications to host for all programs in summer 2021 are found at https://www.kansas4-h.org/events-activities/global-citizenship/host-family-information/index.html  and may be submitted now.  Information will be updated as it becomes available.
