AI4ALL Open Learning Grant Opportunity

Submitted by Anissa Jepsen

For those of you with high school students or STEM based project clubs interested in AI, below is a possible funding opportunity I wanted to share. If you have questions about the program please contact the AI4ALL program directly at www.ai-4-all.org

AI4ALL is officially launching a new blended learning course and a program that may be of interest to you.

AI4ALL’s Open Learning Program is a free education program for high school students to learn artificial intelligence (AI) and develop their own AI projects for social good. This fall we are releasing “Explore AI”, a new, introductory, project-based learning course for high school students with no experience in AI, programming, or advanced math to leave knowing:

• What AI and Machine Learning are,
• Who some role models in AI are,
• The benefits and risks of AI and Machine Learning to the world and to themselves, and
• How they can be involved in the world of AI and Machine Learning.

How can you get involved? AI4ALL is currently accepting applications for the AI4ALL Open Learning Get Started Grant Program. To help create a great learning experience in the early stages of the program, they are offering a limited number of seed grants to partners committed to increasing access to AI education. This may be a fit if you would like to try this program out with individual 4-H Clubs at this time. Also happy to discuss other options directly!
