Achieving the Extension Mission Through Volunteers - Professional Development Opportunity –

Achieving the Extension Mission Through Volunteers, is an online cohort course designed to build staff and organizational capacity around volunteer management and development. The course targets extension professionals across all subject matter areas who work with volunteers to enhance and deliver Extension programs. This course is brought to you by the North Central Region Volunteer Specialists.

Recruitment is beginning now for participation in the 2020 cohorts! Spots are limited. Register early to be included in this national cohort learning experience. During the six-week period, participants will engage in pre-recorded sessions; readings; activities and three live webinars. Staff will also develop connections with colleagues from other states as they share ideas, provide feedback on volunteer management concepts and explore strategies to meet the needs of new volunteers.

Staff members in the North Central Region are eligible for early registration at a reduced cost of $100.
