Kansas 4-H Livestock Sweepstakes
The Kansas 4-H Livestock Sweepstakes is approaching on August 24-25. The entry deadline has passed, but those who entered youth will be receiving additional details and reminders via email as the event approaches. A tentative schedule for the weekend is posted on the KSU Youth Livestock Program website, under 4-H Livestock Sweepstakes.
The livestock judging contest, livestock skillathon, and quiz bowl qualifying exam will be on Saturday, with the meat judging contest, head-to-head quiz bowl rounds, and awards ceremony being on Sunday. Through these events, the youth who will represent Kansas at the national contests will be selected. We look forward to having Kansas 4-H’ers visit campus and display their knowledge of the livestock industry!
