Japanese Girls Arrive for New Academic Year in Kansas High School

Submitted by Dr. Mary Kay Munson

With the arrival of Nogomi Yamamoto August 4, another Academic Year Program (AYP) begins for Kansas 4-H.  Nogomi will be hosted for the school year by the Brandon and Dianna Dibben Family in Geary County.  August 12 she will be joined across the state in Kansas by fellow LEX member, Ai Okamoto to be hosted by a Wallace County family still finishing paperwork at the time of this writing.  She will be part of the Sunflower District 4-H program.  Ginger Kopfer and Melinda Davies will be local coordinators for the AYP students this year.
